First meeting implica-T! – Wednesday 18th February

A year ago, we decided to start implica-T!
 
I wrote last month  about what happened in 2008 and what plans we have, mostly for 2009. I also sent a questionnaire (that some of you they have already completed), which is of great help in the inventory of resources that can help us in our actions; I’ll reattach it, inviting those of you who did not complete to consider it.
 
Meanwhile we were able to complete the formalities of setting up (our tax code 24958630, account RO42BRDE410SV26660394100 and stamp, so I officially declare open the season on financial contributions) and I enjoy thinking that now we can occupy more about involvement and road awareness than on administrative issues.

 

The first implica-T! meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 18, 18.30. I am waiting for your confirmations until Friday, 13 February 2009, 17.00, and depending on them  we’ll determine the location. At this meeting we will approve the action plan for this year, we’ll hear other ideas, besides the ones we already posted here, and we’ll choose the adistinctive signs and slogan.
 
I know some of us will not be able to participate, being in other cities or just very caught; they are not excluded, I’am waiting for their ideas on the e-mail, telephone, messenger or face to face.
 
I’m very enthusiast about the idea of a campaign in schools. Initially it was about going into schools and do a sort of class in which to deliver a targeted message adapted to the public. It was subsequently proven that we are not enough to cover many schools that I could go, and then outlined the idea to create materials for each age group. We could send them to teachers who want to have such a class, and they be the ones to present them; this way, implica-T! may be present in several places around the same time interval (we will discuss an optimum can between Easter and summer holidays?), we can even have a campaign. But for this we have to talk, put up a list of schools which will be included in campaign and to design materials.
